Masters

Overview

The Masters Ski Development Program program is open to anyone looking to improve their skiing abilities. Whether you're looking to get introduced to various aspects of ski racing, or are an experienced racer looking to spend some time honing their race skills.

No previous race experience is required; however, skiers should be at an intermediate skill level (able to ski blue runs) in order to benefit from this program.
The Masters program will run for ten (10) weeks on Wednesday evenings at 6:00pm - 8:30pm at Ski Martock.
Participants are required to have a CSA certified ski helmet and their own ski equipment.
Tentative Program dates (conditions permitting)
- Start Date: January 14, 2026
- Final Class: March 25, 2026
- No Class on March 18 for NS March Break
This program is open to participants who are aged 18 or older as of January 1, 2026.

Lift Pass

Program fees do not include the cost of a lift pass.
Lift passes are available directly from Ski Martock and can be purchased online.

ACA / Ski NS Membership (New for 2025-26)

Masters Athletes will be required to purchase a Ski Nova Scotia / Alpine Canada membership for general liability insurance purposes.

Please select the "Masters Weekend" option which covers training within NS for the season as well as a single weekend race event.
The cost for this membership is $169.75 (plus taxes and fees) for the 2025-26 season and MUST be purchased before participating in any MSRC Club Activities.
