MSRC Camps Update!
After some additional discussion between the Coaches and the Program Directors, there have been a few updates to our pre-season camp plans. Please see an updated version of the Camp Information email that was sent out on October 19 below.
Below is a summary of the camps planned to date by our coaching team (with big thanks!) for the upcoming season along with the age groups to which they apply. Registration for each camp will open closer to the camp date. If you have any questions about the camps or whether it is appropriate for your athlete to attend please contact the head coach prior to registering.
REMEMBER: All camps are conditions permitting so please keep that in mind when booking accommodations (watch the refund policy!).
MONT SAINTE-ANNE, QUEBEC
This is available for U10, U12 and U14+ athletes. It is NOT available for U7 athletes. On snow days are December 17-21, 2024 with travel days being December 16 and December 22 (or depart late on December 21). There is an extended camp option of December 14-21 for U14+ athletes only.
There is no room block for this camp. Popular options are Delta Hotels Mont Sainte-Anne and Chalets Montmorency. The Quebec equivalent of AirBnB is Chalets Au Quebec.
AMQUI, QUEBEC
This is available for U10, U12 and U14+ athletes (Not U7). On snow days are December 28-31, 2024 with travel days being December 27 and December 31 or January 1.
A room block has been set up. Details in the Camps email, or contact admin@msrc.ca The room block is released on November 27, 2024.
PIN ROUGE, QUEBEC
This is available for U10, U12 and U14+ athletes (Not U7). On snow days are January 2-5, 2025 with travel days being January 1 and January 5. *NOTE: The dates for this camp have changed*
There is no room block for this camp. There are chalets on the hill (pinrouge.com) but availability is limited (there are larger chalets if families want to stay together). There are other on hill options with AirBnB or hotels in New Richmond, Quebec which is about 20 minutes from the hill.
For all three Quebec Camps (Mont Sainte-Anne, Amqui, and Pin Rouge)
Although they are available for U10 athletes, please use your judgment as to whether your athlete is ready for a “big hill” and gate training including being able to load the chairlift on their own. In the event your athlete needs assistance at any camp, the coaches may require that you as parent/guardian ski with your child so please be prepared for that possibility. If you have any concerns about your athlete’s ability to participate, please speak with the head coach PRIOR to registering.
MONT FARLAGNE, NB
Mont Farlagne is located in Edmundston, NB. This is for the weekend of January 11 and 12, 2025. This is available for U10, U12 and U14+ athletes. This does NOT apply to U8 athletes (please note the reference to U8 vs U7 given that the race is not available to U8 athletes). There is a race scheduled by Ski NB at Mont Farlagne that weekend for U10+ athletes. For those who have not had enough time on snow to race then there will be a free ski two day camp.

MARTOCK MINI CAMP
This is available for ALL athletes for the weekend of January 11 and 12, 2025.
CRABBE MOUNTAIN, NB
This is available for U7, U10 and U12 athletes. On snow days are March 8, 9 and 10, 2025 (the first weekend of March break).
